Porter - Yoshida & Co. Flying Ace 2Way Briefcase Olive Drab (863-17039)
With the details of the US AIR FORCE nylon flight suit "FLYING SUIT / TYPE K-2A" manufactured in the early 1950s as a motif, the greatest characteristics of military gear are "practicality, functionality and durability." It is a total series that focuses on "sa".
The material of this series was inspired by the flying suit of the time, and it is a completely original product that was newly developed from thread to structure with the high technology of Made in Japan. Nylon filaments that are strong against friction and flexibility, smooth and shiny, are woven in an Oxford pique style that combines high density and lightness. The surface is treated with a sillage treatment to give it a unique luster and tension and elasticity.
Each item incorporates the details found in military items of the time, while incorporating specifications that fit everyday life. For the main zipper part, we attached a fully tanned cowhide leather pull to the wire automatic slider, and for the other zipper parts, we adopted the original semi-automatic slider pull with PORTER engraving. The original Insignia “PY AIR FORCE” is printed.
The Oxygen Tab used in the initial model of the MA-1 to fix the cord of the oxygen mask with a clip has been made into a pocket that can store smartphones and other items.
For the shoulder strap, porter sewed a combination of common parts and tape to Porter's own specifications, and developed an epoch-making system that allows smooth adjustment with one action.
This is a 2-way short helmet bag that resizes the helmet bag, which is one of the representative military bags. In addition to two front pockets with different specifications, it has ample storage capacity with a zipper pocket and an oxygen pocket. A helmet bag that can be used in both casual and business situations.
