A slick and minimal watermelon red low top from Shoes Like Pottery. Kiln fired, hand sewn and hand assembled in Kurume, Japan.

ORIGIN: Made in Japan Shoes Like Pottery gain their name through the vulcanising – or ka-ryu – process used on each of their shoes. Kiln-firing the rubber outsoles on each pair allows the rubber to regain its natural elasticity, resulting in highly flexible, soft and super durable footwear. Each pair is stamped with a bright blue rubber seal that bears the brand’s logo - the uchide no kozuchi. This is a magical mallet believed to ‘tap-out’ the wishes of its bearer. Matching this stamp, the sneakers are finished with a vibrant blue sole for a burst of colour in each step
