Black Sign “Sashiko" Indigo Cross Navajo Shirt – Indigo (BSFL-24104)

This is a Navajo shirt with a loose fit. It is designed to be worn lightly over a cut-and-sew top or shirt, making it suitable for a casual look.

The fabric is made from 100% indigo yarn dyed in two different shades, woven into a two-tone gauze-like plain weave with a crisscross pattern embroidered on it.

The buttons are real horn buttons with feet.

Fabric characteristics:
A woven fabric that allows you to enjoy the gradation from dark to light colors.

This fabric has a pattern that has long been known as katsuo-shima (bonito stripes). The ground stripes are expressed using dark, medium and light indigo dyed threads.

All indigo dyeing work is done by hand.

The pattern created by adding sashiko thread to this indigo-dyed background has an indescribable elegance to it.

It is thick enough to be used for shirts or light outerwear, and you can enjoy the changes that occur as a result of indigo fading.
