Iron Heart’s 9oz selvedge flannel work shirt. These shirts call on a mixture of rope dyeing and sulphur dyeing techniques to create a pattern that will fade at different speeds and to different degrees over time. 

These ombré flannels from Iron Heart achieve their unique colours through a blend of dyeing techniques. The darkest shades of the check pattern are rope dyed indigo, while the lighter hues are sulphur dyed. This creates a shirt of subtle gradations that will age beautifully over time. The fabric itself is a midweight Japanese flannel left unbrushed for a touch more structure. Iron Heart’s spin on the classic work shirt pattern has a touch more room through the body than their Western styles providing a more regular yet still flattering fit. The finishing here is uniformly top notch – think selvedge-cut placket and cuffs, single and double needle stitch construction, and felled internal seams.
