Black Sign “Kuniyoshi Utagawa” Three Quarter Sleeve Night Hawaiian Shirt – Sumidagawa-no-Asagiri (BSSL-25110)

The design is inspired by nightwear from the 1940s. It is simply Hawaiian shirt with three-quarter length sleeves using a Japanese Hawaiian rayon fabric with an ukiyo-e print. The deeply offset lower collar gives the open collar the appearance of a tailored jacket. The sweatband on the back of the neck, side slits, slash-cut hand pockets and open cuffs create a Hawaiian shirt unlike any other. The buttons are made from natural black pearl.

Fabric characteristics:
Cotton and rayon dobby weave material. The fabric is thin and firm, but also features the smooth, cool and elegant feel of rayon.

The pattern is based on Utagawa Kuniyoshi's "Morning Mist over the Sumida River," and has been modified in composition and expression to create a full-pattern print without compromising the image.
