This version of the 888 is made using a 14oz Japanese broken twill selvedge denim. It has a unique weave that alternates between a left-hand twill and a right-hand twill - creating a distinctive zig-zag pattern. The broken twill weave was first developed by Wrangler back in the ‘60s to combat leg twist in early denim.
