Momotaro MS044 Work Shirt / 5oz Chambray - Indigo

A tight silhouette work shirt with an original vintage motif pattern. The shirt has a neat length so it does not get in way even if you wear it with the hem out. The neck incorporates a chin strap specification. It is a detail that is said to have played a role of protection against cold and dust by tightening the collar properly. The right chest has a flap pocket and the left chest has a pen-insertion pocket. It is a vintage detail commonly known as Gachapoke.

5 ounces of original selvedge chambray with uneven yarn woven on an old power loom is used on this one. Usage of the 3-needle back ring winding sewing which is commonly found in vintage work wear. The thread count and hand movement are used properly depending on the location so that puckering can be performed appropriately. The difference in thread color on the back side and center of the 3-needle sewing part reproduces the background at the time when the remaining thread was reused.
