Tradition and innovation collide with Samurai's latest blended weft denim for 2025. The weft yarns blend cotton with traditional Japanese Washi paper fiber, a material historically used for calligraphy, Shoji screens, and even durable everyday goods thanks to its surprising strength and lightness. Known for its lightweight feel and remarkable absorption and quick-drying properties, the Washi in the blend delivers a natural breathability and a cool, crisp wearing experience.

For the warp, Samurai uses an original indigo yarn made from extra-long staple fibers that offer a subtle sheen and a soft, supple hand reminiscent of silk.
