Based on an authentic US Army issue from the Vietnam War, the Real McCoy’s Knitted Neckerchief is a faithful reproduction of a piece that became indispensable in the field. Originally inspired by Australian combat units who used cotton towels to deal with the tropical heat, the US version was made from soft, absorbent T-shirt fabric dyed in OG (Olive Green) and constructed using a dense double-knit technique.
