This overcoat, in large canvas HBT Sashiko INDIGO cotton from the KUROKI Manufacture in Japan is inspired by’ a 1938 model, specially designed for motorcyclists the French Army.
The manufacture of these overcoats is " After War " post 50s. This model was worked on the principle of the Canadian, like a three-quarter pea coat.
A overcoat is a jacket worn over other clothing. It is generally quite short, buttoned at the front, with patch pockets. The weave of the canvas is ultra dense which allows low wind penetration.
