Momotaro G0605SL 14.5oz Indigo Silk Selvedge Denim Natural Tapered
The material used is a 14.5 oz pongee selvedge denim. In the weft a hand twisted silk thread has been interwoven at slow pace using the vintage Toyoda loom machines that resulted the non-uniformity of thickness on its appearance. From cocoon to the silk thread until it becomes a denim, the surface has a unique shine. Pongee produces a small hump on the surface and creates a sluggish gloss and unique texture.
