Omoto Denim 13.5oz Loose fit jeans – Indigo (0815)

The widest model in the Omoto Denim lineup. Deep rise, loose and straight silhouette from thigh to knee. Inspired by tailor-made trousers, the pattern design is based on the structure of the human body. It combines a comfortable fit with a sophisticated silhouette.

～Fabric～

65 % Memphis Cotton: American-grown raw cotton with a fiber length of 27.8 mm that combines a unique firmness with a supple texture.

35 % Zimbabwean cotton, 28.6mm fibre length, providing a good balance of softness and strength.

 The fabric was woven using a 1950s "Sakamoto shuttle loom" that had been modified by the manufacturer, with the warp threads subjected to the lightest possible tension. The finished product is a culmination of the skill and passion of the craftsmen in the Sanbi region.

 ~ Dyeing ~

Made using 100 % pure indigo and traditional rope dyeing techniques. Although the surface of the thread is dyed blue, the core of the thread is not dyed. This “ white in the middle ” contrast creates a beautiful aging effect as the garment is worn.

 A reproduction of the classic medium-dark color that has been loved since the 1950s and continues to be loved today.

Unsanforized(Shrink to fit) denim with one-wash processed.

Enjoy the unique texture of the fabric that retains the characteristics of cotton.
