Black Sign 1940s 2-Way Field Jacket – Rat Grey Ombre Check (BSFJ-23409)

A faithful reproduction of a 1940s reversible field jacket made for hunting and field work.

This jacket is made for cold weather, and has a loose A-line silhouette that allows you to wear a thick sweater underneath.

The front and sides feature an ombre check made from fine alpaca wool, with high slash pockets and large flap hand pockets.

In contrast, the back side uses 100% cotton dobby cloth army cord, and has a chest pocket with a flap on the left chest and slash hand pockets that make it easy to put your hands in and take them out, giving a clean look.

The zipper is a universal zipper with a vintage-style fan-shaped slider.

The back uses urea stepped buttons.

Ombre check is made with high-quality alpaca. The fabric is created in a modern style by analyzing vintage buffalo check.

The alpaca blend gives a sense of luxury and roughness, and the tight, firm texture gives warmth and a seasonal feel to your fall and winter styling.

The finish has a moderate sheen and texture that gives it a military feel.
