Black Sign “Sashiko” Sergeants Vest – Deep Indigo (BSSV-24203)

This vest is based on a 1910s vest with modifications such as adding pockets.

The addition of pockets also improves practicality, making up for the lack of storage in spring and summer when people tend to wear light clothes. There is no lining, so it is lightweight and comfortable to wear, making it perfect for layering with cut and sewn items.

The fabric is a lightweight 100% cotton sashiko dyed with natural indigo.

As the indigo fades, the unique expression of sashiko is created, further enhancing the atmosphere of the item.

The thick part of the sashiko is stamped with black, and the fabric is overdyed with indigo. As the indigo fades, it becomes more distinct from the black part, creating a very rich and tasteful expression that is unique to this fabric.
