John Lofgren Donkey Puncher Horween Waxed Flesh – Dark Brown (LK-045)

The John Lofgren Bootmaker Donkey Puncher Boots are a heavily built logger-style design, renowned for being incredibly comfortable straight out of the box. The uppers are crafted from Horween's legendary Waxed Flesh Chromexcel leather, prized for its rich character, natural weather resistance, and the way it develops a striking patina with wear. This reimagined version is fitted with American-made Vibram Christy soles for all-day comfort and a clean, modern silhouette. John Lofgren also replaced the traditional speedhooks with all eyelets, creating a uniform and purposeful look. True to the originals, these boots remain visually striking and deeply authentic. The Donkey Puncher name comes from the operators of the massive “Steam Donkeys,” the engines that powered America’s logging industry at the turn of the 20th century.
