Starting with the custom made last designed by John Lofgren to give the boot a 1950's silhouette (no toe bump, with a taper to the shape).
The rest of the construction details are equally good as the the leather used, Horween Chromexcel. With that fantastic leather comes Japanese steel shanks, British Goodyear welting, and brass-coated steel buckles made in Tokyo. Even the labels are made on shuttle looms. All of this is put together at one of the best footwear factories in Japan.
