Unlike most modern sneakers, the Champion is produced at Moonstar in Japan, one of the last remaining factories specializing in traditional vulcanized footwear. Built from 12oz Japanese selvedge chino cloth, the upper offers a substantial feel rarely found in canvas sneakers today. The Solid Olive version draws direct inspiration from vintage military training footwear, while the Solid Black emphasizes a clean, versatile appearance that works with everything from denim to military trousers.

Construction is intentionally uncompromising. A double-layer vulcanized rubber sole, dense sponge insole, reinforced stress points, and double-stitched seams create a sneaker designed for years of wear.
