Rocky Mountain Featherbed Down Denim Vest - Indigo Used Wash

This Down Vest is constructed with a unique denim shell, playing host to a genuine down blend that offers an incredible amount of insulation. Closed with hardy brass studs, it features a corduroy trimmed collar and is finished in classic Rocky Mountain style with a seamless leather sawtooth yoke panel.

The outer fabric is made of Japanese denim, reproducing the look and feel of having been worn for several years.

The lining is made of the original 70 denier nylon taffeta developed when RMFC was revived. This nylon taffeta, which was faithfully reproduced after researching vintage materials, has the functionality of a down pack, and its three-layer construction dramatically increases its lightness and heat retention.

The down is made of water-repellent down from Europe. Normally, down loses its heat-retaining ability when wet, but the down itself has been treated with a water-repellent finish to maintain its heat-retaining ability even in bad weather.
The exquisite ratio of 90% down and 10% feathers boasts a high heat-retaining capacity of 700 FP, and has achieved surprising lightness and heat-retaining properties.

The leather of the yoke part is combination tanned with tannin and chrome. The leather is dyed to preserve the natural texture of the original leather and is highly durable.

These products are carefully sewn in Japan.
The leather parts may have uneven coloring and scratches due to the characteristics of natural leather. This is a natural mark and is a proof of natural leather. Please enjoy the individual differences in texture as a characteristic of natural leather.
The edges of the leather may stand up. Please understand that this is a design characteristic.
If you are concerned about the dryness or hardening of the leather, please give it nutrients by using a leather cream, etc.
To make the best use of the feathers, a certain amount of air permeability is necessary. Therefore, blowing out of feathers is inevitable. If feathers blow out from the surface of the fabric, do not pull the feathers out forcibly, but pull them back into the product from the back side.
