Black Sign - Japanese special
There is always a reason why to call (almost) any Japanese brand special. And it (almost) always truth. The approach these guys have is something unique. The Black Sign can be characterised by many words, we like the description "mysterious" the most. Their Instagram, webpage and also their shop Black Sign Lodge have really nice atmosphere which we love. And we like a lot also their garments and accessories.
We are adding new styles twice a year and now it's the good time.
We are having two new shirts. The first one Black Sign Paisley Cord Gangster Shirt Navy is a micro-cord shirt with a Paisley pattern. We've never seen soething similar.
The second of them is a jacquard woven shirt Black Sign Light Weight Gul Jacquard Working Shirt White Gul with a pattern inspired by a traditional Torkaman Tribe art from Eastern Iran.
The same pattern is used on bandana. Here they call it Light Weight Gul Jacquard Handkerchief Red Gul, which a long name for a simple piece of fabric with sophisticated design.
Then, there is a new vest, Black Sign Noble Velveteen Butler Vest, which looks like a classic vest. It certainly is, but the fabric used here is also very special, it is made of Velveteen (short pile velvet).
A nice reminder what sportsmen and motorcyclist found useful in 1910s and 1920s. This well fitting sweater is made of very soft worsted wool. Obviously it is warm but what is special here, is a collar. It can be buttoned up to cover the wearer's neck (the same way like roll-necks do) or it can be open to show elegant style.
Wool pants - for most of "common" people it does not sound very tempting. Because they have on mind the itchy, non-fitting trousers in some earthy colour. This is not the correct description of Jail Stripe Dress Trousers. They are inspired by WW II Navy trousers but have a slightly adjusted fit and they are made from amazing soft wool fabric with very nice hand feel.
The Horsehide Tote Bag is so much special that we do not add any description. Just look and think....
And yes, the Black Sign always offers jewellery. This time we chose a skull. A popular item in Black Sign portfolio. Poison in the Brain is made together with Black Boots and it has a opening jaw. I think everyone can have an idea what to hide in...
