Hansen AW21 - very great (and warm) news
Twice a year we becoming really happy when opening boxes coming from our friends in Copenhagen, Denmark. These boxes are loaded with new Hansen Garments.
There is always some classic piece, this time it is a very popular shirt, Henning, this time in a Bottle green color.
Then there are the new vests. One with traditional houndstooth pattern made of pure wool. The Austrian yarns are quite tightly spun and therefor does not pill in use. Both yarns are melange and make a soft image. The second one is Kaj, made of Black Indigo fabric. This one can complement the 3-piece suit together with blazer Nicolai and Otto pants.
Grey Pin is the name of the fabric used for new suit (Lukas jacket, William Vest and Finn pants. The fabric is a combination of a Herringbone weave and Pinstripes. It is made of 100% cotton with a pin striped pattern. It is classic and has strong traditions within men’s clothing with references to power and wealth. Pin stripes origins from uniforms worn by those who worked in banks, for the purpose of easily being recognized and not mistaken for being robbers or other intruders.
A good experience could be to wear the casual duo: Robert Pull-On shirt and casual draw-string loose fitted sporty pants, called Jimmy. The Italian cotton with a hint of wool twill, is perfect for colder days. It is soft, comfortable and has a bit of a vintage feel and look to it. The styles are washed to give them an even softer touch.
And as always there are some hats. Knitted beanies are coming in two colors (Tobacco and Smoke). They are incredibly soft and with a nice handfeel. And it is the blend of virgin wool and alpaca.
The Eskild hat is made of wool blend and the hidden earflaps which will make feel warm also during very chilly days.
