Hansen - believe in small wardrobes and big personalities
Based on Nordic values, aesthetics and design traditions, we are driven by our ambition to make men look good by offering effortless and timeless garments for everyday life.
The silhouette connects the ruggedness of work wear with finer tailoring references. Each season-less range of garments is crafted to withstand the elements and engage with society.
Every collection is a composition or arrangement of colours and fabrics. They all play a significant part being light or dark, rugged or refined. The contrasts within the collection are essential and it matters to us what and how you feel when you experience the HANSEN Garments.
Choosing versatile pieces is another way to make your wardrobe feel grounded, with a solid foundation. Another of our newcomers, JASPER, is a striking combination of blazer and jacket. This piece can be worn in two ways. Do up the top button and you have a snug jacket which will protect you from the elements. On the other hand, if you leave the top button undone, the structure of the jacket changes, creating the illusion of lapels and a more formal piece. The JASPER jacket also has some delightful workwear details such as the large, patched-on pockets at the front. It’s signature of HANSEN Garment’s style, a solid favourite to wear again and again.
JASPER comes together with already popular curved legs pants OTTO and wide cut KEN.
Then we have back 3-piece suit combo ANKER - WILLIAM - KEN made of really interesting fabric. The Italian fabric is dyed with natural indigo and complies with Öko-Tex Standard 100. It is a 56% wool and 44% cotton composition where the warp yarns have been over dyed to a deep blue indigo. Due to the natural indigo dye, irregularities in the colour will occur. In time, as all indigo does it will fade and age with grace. We love!!
Talking about indigo - there is a JESPER, an informal shirt with the same relaxed, regular fit as our Henning shirt. Jesper has a traditional sports shirt placket and a pointed chest pocket to ensure the casual look.
This soft 4oz indigo dyed shirt fabric comes from one of Italy’s most famous denim mills, Berto. The composition of this fabric is unique; the 10% wool will keep you sheltered from the cold.
The warmest piece we got is a NICK, heavy and warm turtle neck sweater with raglan sleeves. It is a plain stitch with rib stitch at cuffs and neck.
This high-end Italian yarn is unique for it’s composition and comfort. It is heavy, very soft and great for cold conditions. The yarns are spun with multicoloured slub fibres including silk and alpaca, the result is a beautiful and very interesting tweed like picture.
