Studio d'Artisan crazy news
We always expect from Osaka based Studio d'Artisan something a bit crazy and unique. And again, we are not disappointed.
Let's start with jeans. We used to have Salesman jeans before. The 4 different denim fabrics used for them make us really curious how they will look like when worn. All of them are used in "normal" SDA production but mixed up? Different story. Also there some other details: different color of stitching, different buttons etc. This is a challenge for all the denim connoisseurs among us!
The similar game but different playfield is the Tsugihagi Shirt. 3 different kinds of indigo dyed chambray fabrics have also high potential for great fades in the future.
A bit more conservative is a beautiful shirt made of original blend of cotton and hemp. This fabric will give the shirt a vintage look and feeling when worn. It was inspired by worker shirts from a beginning of 20th century.
Very interesting project of SDA is to take old original kimonos and make short-sleeve shirts out of those authentic silk fabrics. Every shirt is different and every shirt in one of a kind. Only a few of them produced... 1, 2, 3.
As always, there are some really nice tees coming from SDA. The really nice one is a tee made of Fox cotton, the color is not made by dyeing but it is a natural colour of Fox cotton fibre. And yes, made on antique loop wheel machine.
And last but not least, legendary SDA print tees. These sell always quick so please do no think too long..
