C.C.F. Workwear, by Filson
Filson is a very old, traditional American brand. They produce great, robust and almost ever-lasting stuff for more that 120 years. We sell their bags, wool coats, tees etc. So we know a thing or two and we can only confirm that these products can last and they look even better with heavy use. Circa 2 years ago Filson started this workwear line, called C.C.F., which it says is built for the “forest, factory, and field.” Soo, it is a proper WORKWEAR, not something which looks good on you when you go out to your soya latte or craft beer degustation. Or stand in front of off-road car in the centre of Prague. You can work in these garments and you can work hard and weather can be also hard. No problem.
The line is named after C.C. Filson, the company’s founder, who was a homesteader and railroad conductor in the second half of the 19th century. He owned his own mill and used mostly mackinaw wool to make durable clothing that would stand up to the harsh conditions prospectors endured in the Klondike. Today the company C.C. Filson started is a highly regarded American heritage brand, known for high-end bibs and jackets that are, frankly, too expensive for a lot of people who legitimately need durable clothing for their jobs. We are starting with the C.C.F Utility Jacket, at the moment only in Sepia color. We feel that this color belongs to a proper workwear world. The C.C.F Utility Jacket is constructed from tough cotton duck canvas and filled with lightweight polyester insulation. Outfitted with an adjustable,insulated hood; two chest pockets; interior security pocket; and handwarmer pockets with large openings for use while wearing gloves. The jacket is warmer than it seems and the canvas can resist wind and light rain. And it in Made in Canada, they know how it feels to work outside in harsh weather.
The second product is the Filson C.C.F Waffle Lined Full-Zip Hoodie Black. It is a classic hoodie which is made with a durable cotton and polyester shell and a thick waffle-knit cotton lining. Features a heavy-duty front zipper, adjustable hood and handwarmer pockets. The ultimate black hoodie, tough as nails. The only thing you should be beware is that they are quite large so please choose one size smaller than your usual size.
And we are talking about workwear but we do not see any problem to wear the mentioned jacket and hoodie anywhere you want. They are pretty too!
