The Real McCoy’s Leather Enduro Trail Jacket
After a short break we are back. And in a full-power..
We are re-starting our blog activity with really a heavy-weight here. The Real McCoy’s Leather Enduro Trail Jacket (MJ20117) is something which you have probably never seen before. Well, it may look familiar. You probably have seen Steve McQueen on the pictures from the time when he was riding his bikes during the International Six Days Trial. But this version of the jacket is made of Smooth Finished Horsehide.
Inspired by motorcycle jackets from the 1960s, particularly those that can been seen worn within the enduro trial bike racing scene. The Leather Enduro Trial Jacket is constructed of four snap pockets including a slanted map pocket for easy access when riding. The jacket also comes supplied with a removable belt. This trial jacket is made from an unfinished vegetable tanned horsehide giving it a smooth finish in texture and is lined with wool serge material for added warmth and corduroy inlay inside the collar.
To achieve a distinctive look, the leather was finished to present its most natural character. Smooth Finished Horsehide may seem damaged in certain areas but ticks, bites, scrapes, scratches, etc. are from natural wild life experiences and tend to be more visible the dark the leather is dyed and unfinished. Please note that these characteristics are considered standard for all Smooth Finished Horsehide products.
